  1. The topic of Communication is very important. I believe communication is a very important skill for everyone, and in this case doctors, nurses, and every health worker. As far as I’m concerned, health workers are major influencers (especially in this world of “social media influencing” 😁), so communicating with knowledge, patience, empathy, etc. is very important, and a key determinant for who a patient would prefer to consult with 🙂

    • Grace, You are right on target! Thank you.

  2. Dear Dr. Ukot,
    This initiative is great!
Please keep it up. More grace to your elbow.
    Prof. Wilfred Ndifon.

    • Prof. Ndifon, Thank you so much. Be prepared to write on a topic on Public Health if the WhatsApp group members suggest! Well done.

  3. Good down-to-earth reminders
    Simple, clear, detailed
    Thank you, Dr Ukot

    • Dr. Edyang-Ekpa, Thank you for taking time to read. You have been in the business of communicating with patients even longer – and so you know!

  4. Thank you, Doc, for drawing attention of medical students and doctors to this often-neglected aspect of care delivery which contributes immensely to health outcomes. The importance of health communication knowledge and skills is clearly highlighted by the case studies. Morbidity and mortality rates of patients would be significantly reduced if this is incorporated into continuing education for healthcare professionals.

    • Dear Dr. Chika, You are a “stakeholder” as far as the topic/issue is concerned. Thank you.

  5. This well detailed! Thank you Sir.
