    Thank you, Doc, for drawing attention of medical students and doctors to this often-neglected aspect of care delivery which contributes immensely to health outcomes. The importance of health communication knowledge and skills is clearly highlighted by the case studies. Morbidity and mortality rates of patients would be significantly reduced if this is incorporated into continuing education for healthcare professionals.

    The topic of Communication is very important. I believe communication is a very important skill for everyone, and in this case doctors, nurses, and every health worker. As far as I’m concerned, health workers are major influencers (especially in this world of “social media influencing” 😁), so communicating with knowledge, patience, empathy, etc. is very important, and a key determinant for who a patient would prefer to consult with 🙂
